March 2026
CACFP Week will take place March 15–21, 2026. This nationwide observance highlights how the Child and Adult Care Food Program supports the delivery of nutritious meals in child care centers, day care homes, afterschool programs, emergency shelters, and adult day care settings. The week is an opportunity for Missouri program operators to focus on meal quality and nutrition education for participants of all ages.
For CACFP sites in Missouri, staying current with reimbursement rates is an important part of operating the program. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has published the reimbursement rates for July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026. Lunch and supper rates include $0.305 Cash in Lieu of USDA Foods.
Missouri CACFP Reimbursement Rates (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026)

| Breakfast | $2.46 | $2.16 | $0.40 |

CACFP Week can also serve as a reminder to review available training. Missouri DHSS offers both live WebEx trainings and recorded online modules covering key areas such as performance standards, required documentation, infant feeding, procurement, and sponsoring organization requirements. These training resources help ensure that centers and homes maintain compliance throughout the year.
Finally, programs may choose to use national CACFP Week materials to support simple activities, menus, or family engagement efforts. Activity sheets, educational PDFs, and sample menus are available for programs that want to highlight healthy eating and involve children and families during the week. These resources can be used in any Missouri CACFP setting at the program’s discretion.
