“Whole-grain rich” products are required in meals served to children (but not infants) in several USDA programs, including the National Lunch Program and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CAFP). This requirement does not extend to the USDA’s program for serving children in vulnerable communities in the summer months, the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
